Rowing at Tampa Prep is open to all high school students regardless of past experience or abilities. Rowing is truly a sport of commitment that builds endurance, character, and close social bonds with fellow rowers.

Tampa Prep competes on the scholastic level under FSRA rules but races against schools and clubs alike. There are few sports like rowing; we encourage all who may be considering joining or who have questions to contact our coaches for more information.

Boathouse Scrimmage

Boathouse Scrimmage

Families: Join us to watch the scrimmage from Channel Drive on Davis Island! We’ll set up to view the event in Davis Islands around 7:30 am, and we’ll have coffee and donuts.

Athletes: Please arrive at the JBL boathouse (Tampa Prep Bay) by 6:30 AM. We will warm up, set up launches and equipment, and go over the race strategy for the day. We’ll have bagels and fruit available there.
